Mera Community Organizes Mass funeral of 15 people killed in terrorist clash 

Fifteen dead bodies from a tragic attack by terrorists on Mera village, in Augie Local Government Area of Kebbi State, North-West Nigeria, were buried.
The funeral prayer was attended by Kebbi State Deputy Governor Umar Tafida, Emir of Argungu HRH Isma’ila Mera, and Commissioner of Police, who led other security chiefs.
The funeral prayer included prayers for peace and for the repose of the souls of the departed, with a shared commitment to strengthen regional security and stability.
The Deputy Governor, offering condolences and support to the grieving families, says the State Governor stands with the bereaved and will work closely with security agencies to prevent further incidents.
The Emir of Argungu urged unity and resilience, calling on security agencies to intensify efforts to ensure community safety.
The Kebbi State Government reassures citizens of ongoing efforts to protect lives and prevent future tragedies.
