The registrar of Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano (YUMSUK), Isyaku Adamu, has emerged as the Assistant Secretary General of the Association of Registrars of Nigerian Universities (ARNU).
This development was achieved at the 19th annual retreat and 76th business meeting of ARNU held on Friday, 6th December 2024.
The general election took place at Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State. The position of Assistant General Secretary was zoned to Northern Nigeria, and Isyaku Adamu succeeded in attaining the position for a two-year tenure.
A newsletter published by the university through the office of the Head of Public Relations Unit, Abubakar Ibrahim, indicated that “This is an achievement not only for the Registrar personally but also for Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano in particular and the Northwest in general.”
